Ruth Lorraine Cook

Ruth Lorraine Cook, 98, of Collierville, passed from this life Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born December 27, 1919 in Britton, OK to the late John and Rosa Pratz Remp. Mrs. Cook was retired as a secretary with Tashee and Associates, was a former member of Lamar Heights Baptist Church in Memphis and a member of Collierville First Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; John K. Cook. She is survived by her daughters; Shirley Griffin, Jeri Dee Fisher, son; Kenny Cook, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Forest Hill East Cemetery in Memphis with Bro. Chuck Herring officiating.
