Steven Hammond

STEVEN DOUGLAS HAMMOND, 60, of Collierville, TN, died June 10, 2011. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 13 and Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, both at Collierville First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Susan Stagner Hammond; two daughters, Ashley Susan Hammond and Abigail Marie Hammond; two sons, Andrew Steven Hammond and Alexander Steven Hammond. Steven was a Godly man who loved people and loved to share how Jesus Christ changed his life. He felt strongly that it was his responsibility to lead his family in serving the Lord with their gifts. As a result, his son, Andy, is a music minister; his daughter, Ashley, is an art teacher; his daughter, Abbey, is a missionary to the Roma people of Macedonia; and his son, Alex, attends Mississippi State University. Steven ministered and shared his faith, even in his workplace among employees and customers. In his free time, he loved cars, racing, and hunting, but his family was always his priority.
