Suzanne Terry Shelton

After a 15 month battle with cancer, Suzanne Terry Shelton went to be with our Lord on November 7th, 2015 in Memphis, TN at the young age of 56. She is survived by her husband Charles Anthony Shelton; her son Charles Eric Shelton, daughter-in-law Bridgett Clark Shelton, beautiful grand babies Luke Thomas Shelton and Garrett Wade Shelton; and her daughter Terri Renee Shelton.Suzanne was born on November 29, 1958 in Birmingham, AL. She grew up in a large family with one sister and two brothers. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Martin Terry, and survived by her mother Alma Wade Terry, her brother Charles Reed Terry, her sister Wanda Terry Dickinson, and her brother Nelson Wade Terry. She graduated from Tarrant High School, in Birmingham, AL, in 1977. She was employed with BMI Memphis, a family owned auto sales and service shop, since 2007. She was an active community member in Memphis. She was president of Les Passees in 2014, chairman of Les Passees Stock Exchange for a number of years, queen of Sphinx Carnival Krewe in 2011, and member of Hope Presbyterian Church. Suzanne never met a stranger. She touched so many lives with her contagious laughter, smile and generosity.
