Teresa Marcum Rickman “GiGi,” 56 of Germantown, TN passed away August 18th at her home surrounded by family. Teresa was born on July 1, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to Ray and Diane Marcum. She leaves behind her husband, David Rickman; her children Lenora Leisure, Deborah (Jake) Barnett, Angela (Brad) Griffith, Kimberly (Mark) Schratz and grandchildren Henry Griffith, John David Griffith, Erin Leisure, Mills Schratz, Bobby Schratz, Alex Leisure, and Brinley Barnett. She also leaves her siblings Randy Marcum, Kathleen Francisco, and Chad Stevenson along with her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Sue Leisure and her brother, Aaron Marcum. Teresa was a truck driver for CEVA Logistics for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, taking pride in her roses, as well spending time with her family at Pickwick Lake. She loved her dogs and all animals. No kinder nor gentler soul will likely be amongst us again. She truly cared for others. Known for her big heart and beautiful smile, she had the best laugh and was always selfless. She was also a whole lot of fun. If you ever had a question or were stumped on how something worked, she would either already know the answer or she would not sleep until she figured it out. She was such a blessing and is already missed dearly by many. May we keep her in our hearts forever. Services will be held at The Collierville Funeral Home- 3863 Bailey Station Rd. Collierville, TN 38017. Visitation Thursday, August 22nd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday, August 23rd at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at New Salem Cemetery at 3896 Cayce Rd. Byhalia, MS 38611. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
