Thomas Howard Daughtry

Thomas Howard Daughtry, 77 years old from Collierville, TN was called to his final resting place on January 21, 2021. Tommy was born on August 9th, 1943 in Memphis, TN to the late Lois & Jesse Edward Daughtry; he was raised by Lois & Samuel Davis. Lovingly known as “Tommy”, ”Daddy”, or “Papaw”, he was a 1962 graduate of Memphis Tech High School, where he played football for Coach Sivert. In 1963, he met and married the love of his life, Nell Fisk, and they went on to share 57 years of marriage. He retired from MLGW after over 30 years of dedicated service, and has enjoyed his retirement years spending time and taking trips with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Tommy is preceded in death by his Mother-Lois Davis, Father-Eddie Daughtry, Stepfather-Sam Davis, Sister-Sherry Omedeo, Brother-Edward Daughtry, Brother-Alan Daughtry, & Grandson-Ryan Davis. He is survived by his wife-Nell Daughtry, Daughters-Michele Davis & Shelli Murphy, Granddaughters-Lauren Vance (George) & Lindsey Cook (Ryan), Grandsons- Evan Davis (Mary Lane) & Logan Murphy, & 9 great grandchildren: Zoe, Grace, Brayden, Ayden, Hope, Dallas, Davis, Lela, & Alauna. He is also survived by Sisters- Vickie Lightsey (Wayne) & Suzanne Atwell and Brother- Charles Daughtry, as well as many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
