Betty J. Beebe

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Betty Jean (nee Ross) Beebe of Collingswood, NJ (formerly of Southwest Philadelphia), who passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at her home on April 2, 2026.

Betty was born on October 30, 1945 to Robert and Betty (Harmon) Ross in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from John Bartram High School and then settled down to start a family.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Giles. Loving mother of Donald Beebe (Joanne), Lori Rodgers (Rick), Debbie Mullen (Jim), and Jennifer Beebe Poulos (Daniel). Betty, or “BooBoo” as she was affectionately known, was devoted to her grandchildren: Abby Rodgers, Riley Beebe, Devon Beebe, Reese Beebe, Jimmy Mullen, Lyla Mullen, Sophia Poulos, and Eli Poulos. She was the beloved sister of Lynn Ross, Janet Dukes, and Deb Magerr.

Betty loved any opportunity to travel with family and friends to Lancaster, Niagara Falls, Nashville, Cape Cod, and Disney. She also enjoyed shopping at Booth’s Corner and craft shows, as well as spending lots of time in the kitchen- cooking, baking, making pizzelles, and preparing the most delicious Thanksgiving dinner one could ever eat. What stands out most beautifully about Betty was her love of family. Her children and grandchildren meant the absolute world to her. Betty was the ultimate matriarch. She set the bar high. She will be greatly missed until we meet again.

A private Memorial Service will be held for the family on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, 226 W Collings Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108.
