
Edward J. Bauer, Esq., 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Born and raised in Pennsauken, New Jersey, Ed spent the majority of his life building a legacy of love, wisdom, and integrity.
A proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia, Ed went on to earn his undergraduate and Master of Law degrees from Fordham University. A skilled attorney with an unwavering commitment to justice, Ed served his clients and community with distinction throughout his decades-long career.
Ed’s passion for rowing was a defining part of his life. He was an avid rower for St. Joseph’s Prep, a pursuit he continued for decades as a member of the Atlanta Rowing Club. The friendships he formed and the discipline he cultivated through rowing brought him immense joy and fulfillment.
For many years, Ed lived in Atlanta, Georgia where he raised his family, forged countless friendships, and embraced the beauty of life. Five years ago, he returned to New Jersey to be closer to his roots and the Jersey shore where he continued to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Ed is survived by his three sons and one grandson. His greatest pride was witnessing his sons’ achievements.
Ed will be remembered as a man of deep faith, a sharp legal mind, and a kind heart. His humor, wisdom, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 3, visitation at 10am, Mass at 11am at St Teresa of Calcutta Parish (Holy Savior) in Haddon Township, New Jersey.
