Survived by her daughter, Charlene Smith (John); son, Donald Stewart; brothers Steven Laverty and Dennis Laverty; granddaughter, Lisa Laverie (Douglas); great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Solise and Scarlett and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, Karl Stewart.
Jan was a former manager of Archway, a company that facilitated aid to differently abled individuals. Outside of work, Jan adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, caring and kind to all and was always happy to lend a hand.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home on Friday, March 21st, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 7:30 PM.
