He is pre deceased by his parents Thomas and Beatrice Campbell (nee Nugent), survived by beloved sisters Margaret (Tom) Rapa and Phyllis Campbell; nieces and nephews: Lauren (Louis) Guzzo, Patrick Rapa, Michael (Christina) Rapa and grand-nieces and nephews, Ava, Julia and Luca. He also leaves behind his dear friend and loving companion, Susi Buchler.
Philip worked for many computer companies throughout his career in electronics and engineering, a career he always felt passionate about. He loved to work on computers. In his spare time, Philip enjoyed visiting the shore including Cape May and Wildwood beach where he liked to go fishing and collecting shells with his sister Phyllis. Philip was a well-liked man everywhere he went, often charming others with his gentle demeanor, quiet humor and wit. Philip was also quite fond of animals and had a number of pets throughout his life, his favorite were dogs. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, many cousins and all who knew him.
A Viewing will be held in St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave, Collingswood, NJ on Thursday October 11, 2018 9:30-10:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30AM with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. Arrangements have been entrusted to BLAKE-DOYLE Funeral Home, Collingswood, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in Philip’s name to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St John Church, 809 Park Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108.
