Aaron Chavez

He was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico and grew up in Grant County, NM and in Albuquerque. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2005, where he worked for many years as plant manager at Castle Rock Construction Co.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Chavez; father, Albert J. Chavez; maternal grandfather, John Culhane; and paternal grandparents, Elie and Natalia Chavez.

Aaron is survived by his daughter, Audrina Lee Chavez and son, Shane Ryan Chavez of Colorado Springs, and the children's mother, Laurie Shoemaker, all of Colorado Springs; Aaron's mother, Jolane Culhane of Silver City, NM; his sister, Julie Chavez Shoemaker and nephews, Dominic Shoemaker and Anthony Shoemaker of Colorado Springs; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He will have a place in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

A memorial service will be held, Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Colorado Springs; cremation will take place and interment of ashes will occur at a later date.
