Alex would have graduated high school next month. He was a welder, worked at a convenience store, and worked construction.
Wrestling was his life. He had a mentor at the Olympic Training center for his wrestling plus various coaches.
He was well loved by everyone. He wanted to change the world, travel the world, see everything. Alex was everyone's protector, friend, mentor, popular with the ladies, and good guy. He had a smile that could light up the world. The world was a better place with him in it. Everything he touched was better for it. The sky was bluer, birds sang, flowers bloomed. He makes everyone want to be a better person. He won an award for helping an elderly lady that fell on a bus. He was in Jr. Rotc with dreams of joining the Navy with his sister and friends.
Alex loved animals. He has a pet Tarantula Christine, a dog Pinky, a dog Sancho, even a dog Lilly that hates everyone but him, plus misc other pets.
He is survived by his Mother and Step father Pamela and Michael Schoonover, his Father Mark Ainsworth, his brother Aaron Ainsworth, Grandparents Frank and Freda Nash, Aunts Patricia and Mary Fran, Uncles Frank J, Thomas, and James, his Adopted Mother Michelle and his Adopted Siblings, cousins, as well as a host of other family members and friends. If we missed anyone, our apologies.
Celebration of his life will be Nov 25, 2017 at Life Hope Church. 1:30 pm.
1318 N. Circle Drive in Colorado Springs. All are welcome to attend. We ask that everyone put their drama, bitterness, and nonsense away so that we may all celebrate his life as he would want.
In lieu of floral contributions we ask that donations be made to his hospital bill at Memorial Hospital or to Aurora Children's Hospital (in Alex's name).
