

Alma Lynn Dollar, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away in her sleep peacefully on April 29th 2015 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Searcy Arkansas, July 31st, 1939. The first of 3 children born to the late Eudie and Thelma Grose.
Alma graduated from Colorado State University and spent her working years as a teacher in the Colorado Springs area. She was married to, and preceded in death by her husband, Lieutenant Colonel William Morgan Dollar.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas and David Dollar, her granddaughter Cecilia Noel Dollar, as well as her sister Margaret and brother Joe. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Alma, gave generously to several charities including but not limited to the ASPCA, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
A visitation, service, and reception will be hosted at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs From 9:30 t0 12:00 on Wednesday May 6th, 2015. A burial will be held at Ft Logan National Cemetery at 2:15 that same afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado Springs Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project
