Vaclav of Youngstown, Ohio, Sister Margaret Hawkins of McKinney, TX , Four children: John “Drew” Vaclav of Westcliffe, CO; David and wife Connie Vaclav of Durango, CO; Jody Vaclav of Playa Del Rey, CA, and Elizabeth V. Tickel of Colorado Springs, CO. Six grandchildren: Amy Felker, Chris Vaclav, Robert Vaclav, Michael Vaclav, Christina D. Tickel , and Zachary A. Tickel and Seven Great-grandchildren

WWII Vet US Army awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, Retired US Letter carrier, Member of 71st Infantry Division, NALC, BPOE, and FOE.

Enjoyed Fishing, hunting and traveling with his family

A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Swan-Law Funeral Director’s follow by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., Corpus Christi Catholic Church 2320 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. A reception at Corpus Christi Parish Hall following the burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
