Barbara Dawn Lucas

Barbara was born in Aurora, Colorado to Mark and Vickie Lucas.

Barbara was the third of four children; brother, Donald Lucas and two sisters, Crystal Lucas and Deborah Lucas.

Growing up in Elizabeth, Colorado the family loved to go on fishing, hiking, and camping trips.

Barbara was a social butterfly. While she was in school she enjoyed marching band and color guard as well as hanging out with her friends. After school Barbara dedicated her life to being an amazing mother and wife to her three children and Fiance. As an adult Barbara loved making sourdough bread and homemade-from-scratch meals for her family. She was an extremely dedicated mother spending her time teaching her children right from wrong, teaching her children to garden, and all the other things people should know. Barbara was a kind loving person who helped everyone she saw in need without judgment and was always there any time someone needed her.

Barbara is survived by her 2 children, Mark and Mary as well as a step-daughter, Isabella; mother, Vickie Lucas; brother, Donald Lucas; and two sisters, Crystal Lucas and Deborah Lucas; and fiance, Erik Davis.

Barbara was preceded in passing by her father, Mark Lucas; and sister-in-law, Sierra Lucas.

A Visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 PM at Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Please join the family following the services for a Reception from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM At Chapel of Memories.
