Betty was born in Hanover, Pennsylvania. In her mid twenties she moved to Colorado with three of her siblings. She married John Biava and had three daughters. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved to work with numbers. Betty was fun loving and enjoyed people, singing, spending time with family and friends, and looking at Pikes Peak. But mostly she loved Jesus!
She is survived by her husband Jack Biava, her two daughters Cathy Nystrom (Jon), Judy Plaep (Dave), her grandchildren Nicole Nystrom, Colin Nystrom (Savannah), Gabrielle Plaep, Elijah Plaep and her sister Shirley Nelson (Dale). She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Catherine Hoffacker, her daughter Theresa Biava, and her siblings Burnell, Bob, Bill and Rodney (twin) Hoffacker.
We will be holding a memorial service for her on October 10th at 10:00 am at Village 7 Presbyterian Church. Reception will follow immediately.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to: Timber Bay timberbay.org/give/jplaep or to Village 7 Church v7pc.org
