Blake loved fishing, camping, and enjoying time with his family and friends. He was following in his grandfather's and father's footprints in the construction business.
Blake was a beacon of love and kindness with a gentle soul and he touched all that knew him, especially his older brother and younger sister. His smile lit up a room and his laughter was contagious and echoed throughout our home as it will in our hearts forever.
Blake had a deep passion for sharing his love of Jesus with others. One of his favorite Bible verses was Matthew 4:19—‘Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.’ He took this verse to heart and lived it out each day, faithfully reflecting Christ’s love in both word and action.
Blake is survived by his parents, Eric and Kristi Heckman, his older brother Julian, younger sister Taylor, his paternal grandparents Kevin and Cathy Heckman, maternal grandmother Karen Peerbolte, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Eugene Peerbolte.
Blake's funeral will be held on Friday, May 30th, 2025, at 10:00 am at Woodmen Valley Chapel - Stone Chapel - 280 West Woodmen Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919
