

Her family moved to Blooming Prairie, Minnesota when she was 5 years old. She attended a one-room schoolhouse and was the only student in her class until the 7th grade. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 1955.
She married the love of her life, Ronald McClain, in 1958. They were married for over 50 years.
They moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where their daughter, Julie, was born in 1960.
In 1962, they packed everything they owned in a two-wheel trailer and moved to Colorado Springs. Bonnie worked as a cashier at Simms Supers for several years.
In 1975 they moved to Canon City, where they owned and operated the family business, Buckskin Joe.
They moved to Texas Creek in 1983, where they made their home at Stagecoach Ranch for the next 21 years. In 2004, they returned to Colorado Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ron, her parents Matt and Emogene Loew, her sisters Gertrude, Sylvia, Marjory, Lois, Norma and Gloria, her brothers Delbert, Jerry and Bill.
She is survived by her daughter Julie and her son-in-law Dan.
Her grandchildren Bonnie (John), Mary (Michael), Ross (Rachel), Michael (Sara) and Paul.
Her great-grandchildren Caitlyn (Donovan), Eric, Dylan, Michael, Ava, Cooper, Olivia, Benson, Alannah and Matthew. As well as her great-great-granddaughter Elianna.
Sisters Maryann and Carolyn, Brothers Bernie (Clarice), Paul (Judy) and Henry. Brothers and Sisters in law Marlys Loew, Bernice Loew, Bruce McClain, Judy McClain, Michael Gutman and Michael (Abby) McClain.
Bonnie had a great love for the Catholic Church and had a great devotion to the Holy Rosary.
