Candace Furnish

Candace Colleen (Burns) Furnish, 67, was born at Memorial Hospital, Colorado Springs, to Dorothy (Sleichter) and Kenneth Burns on Sept 5, 1957. Candy graduated from Widefield High School, class of 1975. She worked at Sno-White Linen & Uniform Rental and Farmers Insurance before marrying Steven Furnish Jan 17, 1987.

They made their home in Cheyenne WY where she worked for the state. They moved to Palmer Lake CO to begin their own business, Majic Carpet MD.

RV Camping with the Rolling Springs (FRCV) group, attending Church on the Ranch, and and spending time with family were her favorite activities.

Candy and Steve raised two children, Melissa (Trey) Rohn, and Justin ( Amanda) Furnish. Her greatest joys were grandsons Elijah and Colin Brownewell, Brody Rohn, and Tate Furnish.

Candy is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, sister, Cathy (Warren) Miller, sister and brother-in-laws Don (Raylene) Furnish, Kathy (Dick) Wilson, nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorials can be given to Church on the Ranch, 3685 Jeannine Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80917.

Services will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, on Dec 23, 2024 with viewing at 10am and funeral at 11am with graveside service to follow.
