Caroll Ann Pheasant

Caroll A. Pheasant, wife, mother, and friend, passed away after a short battle with cancer on March 7, 2021, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on June 2, 1942 to the late Hyla Rivard.

She married the love of her life, Richard Bruce Pheasant on February 28, 1972. Because of Richard’s 26-year naval career, they lived in several places around the world. Their only child Richard Eugene, joined the family in 1981.

When they moved Colorado Springs in 1985, she worked numerous jobs where she made numerous friends. She was also involved with Good Shepherd Methodist Church for many years. An avid CC Hockey season ticket holder and she never missed a chance to watch her favorite New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

She leaves behind her son, Richard Eugene of Thornton, CO; siblings, Sharon Gokey , Dennis Smith and David Smith, of Massachusetts; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 1201 Leta Drive, in Colorado Springs. Per her wishes, a private burial will take place at a later date at Fort Logan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
