Carrie Marie Plant

Carrie Marie Plant of Black Forest, CO, peacefully entered the presence of her Savior and Lord on April 18, 2023. She was 93 years old. Carrie Marie was born in San Antonio, TX, on September 30, 1929, and moved to Colorado after her marriage.

She was a selfless wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and friend, a fabulous cook, hostess, seamstress, and homemaker, involved in numerous church and community activities. She had a beautiful singing voice which she used to glorify God and to minister to others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vernon Wilbert Plant, and by her only brother, Richard Everett. She is survived by her 7 children, 1 daughter-in-law, 5 sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
