The son of John Lain and Alice Pye, Dr. Lain received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, in December 1970.
He was married to Mary J. Lain in 1969, and was the father of Charles Douglas Lain Jr., and a loving grandfather of Robin, Samantha, Noah, and Benjamin.
Dr. Charles Douglas Lain practiced Rheumatology in Colorado Springs from 1976 to 2016.
He was predeceased by his mother, Alice Pye, his father, John Lain, and his brother Michael Lain.
He was a force to be reckoned with, and could never sit still for a second. When he played MarioKart with his grandkids, he always chose to play Peach. He will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Swan Law, on October 25th, 2025 at 10:00am.
