Pastor Christopher D. Wallace was born on April 30, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the union of Melvin Coy Wallace, Sr. and Lillian (Harris) Wallace who both preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were brother Paul E. Wallace and sister Shari E. Cork. Christopher accepted Jesus the Christ as his personal savior and was baptized at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
He was educated through the Indiana Public Schools where upon graduating attended Wabash College and later Grand Canyon University. He was accepted to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his application to Princeton Theological Seminary was being reviewed.
He served his country proudly for over 15 years in the United States Navy, and after his retirement he continued to serve and protected his country, community, and family in other ways. His passion for the word of God lead him to pastor, preach, and teach around the United States. Chris loved dinning, traveling, fishing, and hunting. He was a collector of fine art and artifacts. He loved his children and spending as much time as possible with his youngest, Christen Zaire. Christopher departed this earthly scene on December 9, to live forever.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two (2) daughters LaKia Wallace and Christen Zaire Wallace, two (2) brothers, Melvin (Vanette) Wallace, Jr., and Reverend Eric (Glenda) Wallace, two (2) sisters Valerie M. Moore and Shelly (Darryl) LeFlore, a grandson Tristan Xavier Wallace as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.
