Colby Lorren Meek

In his youth he loved participating in Rodeo’s, Bull Riding and was a Mutton Busting Champion in 2000, A 3 Year State Champion in Go Kart and Quarter Midget Racing from 2005-2007. He was truly a gear head.

His friends affectionately called him “Buck Shot”. Colby was saved in 2008 at the Journey of Faith Church in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Colby had a kind heart and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Father David Meek and Mother Windi Denney, Step-Mother Angie Atkinson and Step Father Keith Denney, brothers Marland and Caleb Meek, maternal grandparents, Garlin Newton, Diana and Ron Bailey as well many aunts, uncles, nephews, a niece and cousins.

Colby is preceded in passing by his paternal grandparents David and Bonnie Meek.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with Funeral Services following at 2:00 p.m. and burial all at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO. 80910.
