“Stoney”
Dean Alan Stonecipher, age 50, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away at home on April 28, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
Dean was born on April 15, 1964 in Crawfordsville, IN, to Richard and Lynda (Harbison) Stonecipher.
Dean joined the Army in the mid 80s and released from duty with a honorable medical discharge. Dean has been a valued member of the Department of Defense (DoD) since the mid 80s. Working for companies such as Contract Technical Services Incorp, Computer Science Corp sub-contractor, to Lockheed Martin, Titan/Engility and finally as an Senior Engineer I, System Program Office Operations Sustainment for Jacobs Technologies, ETASS Group at Peterson Air Force Base, CO since February 2008 till present.
He was survived by his wife Liz; his children Bryan and Kirstin; his parents Richard and Lynda; brothers Dale Stonecipher (Rhonda), Mike Vauters (Cathy); and sisters Diane Gutierreg, Cheri Willoughby (Tod)
He will be missed greatly by family and friends but now rests in the arms of Jesus; his Lord and Savior.
