Deric John Dicke

To know him was to love him. He was the type of person that even if you just met him, it would feel like you had known him for years. Deric had a gift for making everyone forget their troubles and live voraciously in the now. He went out of his way to make everyone feel included, was fiercely loyal and protective of those he loved.

Deric taught us all to laugh hard and have compassion for everyone. He had a fearless appetite for adventure that allowed him to travel the world with an innate ability to find an Irish Pub anywhere.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was selfless, even in his passing and his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of every life he touched. Survived by his brother James and his children, Danny and Mia, his father Curtis and his wife Miho and their children Claire and Jojo.

Services honoring Deric's life will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 Carefree Cir, Colorado Springs, CO on Thursday October 15th at 1:00 pm
