Dolores “Dee” Cano went home to be with the Lord on April 5th, 2011. She passed at the age of 83 in her hometown of Colorado Springs.
On September 21, 1945, Dolores married the love of her life, Roy. Together they raised 8 children. Dolores was the CEO of her Household, a loving wife and devoted mother. She loved to dance, enjoyed crocheting and working on puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her son Richard and her mother, Rose.
She is survived by her husband, Roy F. Cano, Sr., her 8 children: sons Roy Jr., Perry Cano, David Allee, and daughters Mary Lou Gordon, Elaine Cano, Sharon Cano, Dominque Lucero and Kelly Cano; 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Rd., Colorado Springs, CO. A traditional service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
