Elmer G. Bolz passed away on April 3, 2014 at his home in Security, CO surrounded by his loved ones. He was 82 years old.
Elmer was born in Joliet, Il on Feb. 9, 1932 to Eric Herman Bolz and Ruth Kachlert. He was raised in Cicero, Il, and served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954.
Elmer is survived by his loving wife of almost 47 years, Eva I. Bolz. To this union one son was born, Gregory A. Bolz. He is also survived by 2 sons, Timothy Bolz, and Daryl Bolz, 2 daughters Pamela Lanue and Cindy McCallan, all of Joliet, Il., from previous marriage to Elcor Bolz, as well as 3 step children, Helen Bryant, Edwin Bryant and Vesta Blazic (deceased). He is preceded in death by a sister, Lillian, and brothers, Eric, Bruce, Kenneth, Wayne and Emil.
Visitation will be on Monday April 7, 2014 5pm to 7pm at Memorial Gardens Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2014, beginning at 1pm, with grave side service to follow.
