Emma Joy Pyatt was born December 26, 2011. She was born in Colorado Springs and lived there until her family moved to Peyton in 2020. To know Emma was a true privilege. She lived her entire life personifying that name, “Joy.” Her whole heart was for Jesus and for her family. She prayed deeply over everyone in her life and would make little notes in her phone for everyone she was praying for. Many nights she was up late in her room singing and creating songs. But if she wasn’t up late singing, she was reading her bible. It was always hard to get her to actually go to bed, she had far too much to accomplish, and a hunger to know God’s word. Emma had a spirit of kindness and gentleness and was loved by everyone around her. As a student, she was so dedicated to her school work. It was important to her to do everything with excellence, and her homework usually took twice as long as it should because she wanted to make it perfect. She was a great friend and daughter and loved to serve everyone around her. She loved reading and loved art. She loved animals and she loved little kids and babies, and they all loved her back. She also loved her family so dearly and had a very special bond with her younger brother, Myles. The two were inseparable. She was an incredible artist, even from a very young age and was invited to paint in church during the time of worship. To say she was special is the greatest understatement. She was pure love and joy in human form. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. She was a true angel on earth, and now gets to be an angel in Heaven. We love and adore you Emma, and can’t wait for you to give us a tour of Heaven someday.
A a celebration of life for Emma will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
