Emmy Elisa Proctor

Emma Elisa (Emmy) Proctor, age 95, left this Earth on Feb. 23, 2022. She was born Sept. 20th 1926 to Richard and Elise Hebacker in Heidelberg, Germany, one of two sisters. Emmy attended school in Heidelberg and became a kindergarten teacher. Shortly after that she met her husband to be, Homer William Proctor. They married there in 1948 and continued their lives together in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Homer was an American soldier and passed away in 2000.

Emmy loved working in her kitchen and garden and loved entertaining her close friends with coffee and a sweet. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Anyone who met her loved her and she will be greatly missed by all.

Emmy is survived by two sons, Jerry and Garey, four grandsons, Christian, Jeremy, Shane and Tony and two great grandsons, Lennon and River. Also a special friend, Lorene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, her parents, Richard and Elise, sister, Lore and Emmy’s son, Bill.

Memorial Services will be held March 12th, 2022 via Zoom. The exact time will be announced soon along with the Zoom link. Inurnment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Abbey of Angels, details to follow.
