

Erin Collette Weidlich, 56, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on December 19, 2025 in Colorado Springs. She was a ray of sunshine to anyone she ever met and greeted everyone with a big smile and a bear hug.
Erin was born to Peggy (Canty) Weidlich and Kent Weidlich on August 13,1969. She attended Widefield High School. She worked at Taco Bell for over twenty years, where she spent several years engaging with customers and bringing smiles and joy to everyone she encountered.
She was involved in Community Intersections day group program. She loved bowling, swimming and Special Olympics. She enjoyed the occasional beer while playing pool, listening to country music, dancing, and performing karaoke. She also loved singing Patsy Cline songs with her mother. She was a loving mother to her cat, Blake Shelton, and made sure everyone knew it. She was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Colorado Rockies, the Denver Broncos, the LA Lakers and of course, Lebron James. Erin loved winning anything she played, especially Bingo. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Erin is preceded in death by her mother, her father, her brother Patrick and her Aunt Sheila Venezia.
Erin is survived by her brothers: Tony (Kat), Bill (Tammy) and Michael Weidlich; her Aunt Donna Blake and Uncle Patrick Canty; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Erin’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care. With special thanks to her host home caregivers, Jamie, Regina and the entire Low family for caring for Erin so lovingly during her time of greatest need.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2025 at 11am with a reception immediately following at Victory World Outreach located at 3150 South Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80916.
Donations can be made in Erin’s name to Special Olympics Colorado-Southeast Region or Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care.
