Estella Scritchfield

Refugio Estella Lujan Scritchfield (Age 80) was born on December 10, 1938 to Jose Agapito Lujan and Josephine Griego Lujan in Gulnare, Colorado in Las Animas County.

Stella is survived by her Husband: Neil Scritchfield, Brother: Joe Lujan, Son: Shaun (Neana), Son: Michael (Elizabeth), Daughter: Susan (Brian) and Daughter: Julie (Mike), also 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.

Stella was preceded in death by her Mother: Josephine Griego (1982), Father: Jose Agapito Lujan (1988), Sister: Christie (2016), Sister: Ascension (2009), Brother: Pete (2009), Sister: Irene (2014), Brother: Adolfo (2018), Sister: Elvira (1935) and Sister: Maria (1937).

Stella graduated from Aguilar High School.

Stella continued education thru Trinidad State Jr. College, University of Colorado and Communications School in Kansas City, MO.

Stella had a career in communications for AT&T, Fort Carson Civil Service.

Stella had a passion for always helping others.

Stella’s favorite saying: “How can I see another’s need and not care.”
