She was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs where she lived from August 1965 to August 2013. She was preceded in death by both parents, George and Elnora Kirn, two infant brothers, Lawrence and Richard and older sister, Teresa Nielson. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Hermes, daughter, Jeannette Smith, son, Chris Hermes, brother, Joe Kirn and sisters, Georgia Kirn and Madeline "Maddy” D’ Heilly, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Rosary service will take place at St. Mary's Cathedral, Thursday, August 23, 2013 at 5:00PM.
Memorial services will take place at St. Mary's Cathedral, Thursday, August 24, 2013 at 1:00PM
Her final resting place is to be a sunny location in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery , Solomon, Kansas.
