Evelyn Louise Ford

Evelyn Louise Ford, 63, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on July 29, 2023. She was born on December 1, 1959, in Long Branch, NJ. Evelyn was a beautiful and joyful person who was loved by everyone. She had a caring nature and was known for her sense of humor. Evelyn was a two-time cancer survivor, showing her strength and resilience.

Evelyn's career spanned various industries, including jewelry, insurance, auto dealership, defense, and funeral. She worked as a Lead Accounting Specialist with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center and worked in the Colorado Springs Fire Marshall's Office. Her dedication and hard work had a lasting impact on her professional life.

Outside of work, Evelyn had a passion for genealogy, scrapbooking, writing, and traveling. She enjoyed exploring her family history, capturing memories through scrapbooking, and expressing herself through writing. Evelyn's love for travel allowed her to experience different cultures and create cherished memories.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her husband, Terry, her mother, Doris Hartsgrove Pounds and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathyrn Marie, her grandparents, Wallace and Lillian Hartsgrove, and her sister, Bonnie Marie Doyle. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who loved them.

A Celebration of Life for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00PM-2:00PM at Conifer Village, 100 Beaman Boulevard, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Evelyn's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society. These organizations were close to her heart, and any support would be greatly appreciated.

Evelyn's positive spirit and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, and friend. May her soul rest in peace.
