Frank A. Lanza Sr.

Frank Anthony Lanza, Sr., 60, passed away on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 in Colorado Springs. He was born on September 14th, 1951, to Frank and Carmen Lanza. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lanza; two sons, Frank Jr. and Joseph Lanza; stepsons, Michael Ruiz and John Stinemetz; sisters, Joanne, Helen, Patricia and Mary; grandchildren, Coral, Camryn, Hannah and David; daughter-in-law Catherine, extended family and numerous friends.

Frank was a Colorado Springs native and was proud to be self-employed and the owner of two local businesses, Ben's Gutter Service and The El Dorado Lounge.

Frank was most at home in the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved his family, never hesitated to help a friend when needed, and will be greatly missed.

Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Visitation wil be Monday, September 19, 2011 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.. Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2320 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907. Interment immediately following at Fairview Cemetery, 1000 S. 26 th Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904.
