Fritz R. Bobzin, 47, of Colorado Springs, He lost his battle with chronic debilitating back pain on September 7, 2010. He was born in Flushing, NY to Fritz and Dorothy Bobzin, and was preceded in death by both them and his brother, Rob. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1980-1986 as a Torpedoman's Mate on a nuclear submarine.
He married his soulmate, Allison Bozzo, on July 6, 1983, and was married 27 joyful years. He worked in Brooklyn, NY as a utilities superintendent for a construction company by day and as a stagehand for ABC TV by night for 10 years until an accident forced him to retire. He leaves behind his two cherished daughters, June and Laura Bobzin. He also left Behind three sisters Dotty, Susan and Janet.
Services to celebrate the life of this remarkable, loving man will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on Friday, Sept.17, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life starting at 7:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be held the following morning Saturday, Sept 18th at 10 a.m. with a lunch reception to follow.
