She was born in Stotsenberg, Pampanga Philippines to Estiban and Filomena Dagucon.

Cristeta was preceded in death by her son Gene Tubac. Husband Galo D. Tubac, brothers Pedro Dagucon (Petronilla), Felipi Dagucon, Federico Dagucon.

sisters Soledad Contapay, Francesca Dagucon, Beatrize Dagucon.

Cristeta is survived by her sister Carmelita Yapit(Pete), sons Gregory Tubac(Karen), George Tubac, Gilbert Tubac(Sandra). Daughter Teresita Smith (Terry L). Grandchildren Jennifer Bousquet (Jerry), Christina Pitts (Jason), Joseph Smith, Adriann Bergman(Justin), Valentina Tubac(Kevin), Gina Tubac(Chad), Jason Tubac(Elizabeth), Chase Tubac, Rachel Middlemiss(Matt) and Alisia Tubac. Great grandchildren Tre Pitts, Sybastian Bousquet, Ivan Tubac, Jadon, Mason and Colton Middlemiss and Alasdair Tubac. Many nieces and nephews.

Cristeta had a true passion for her family. After 30 years as a Diet aide at Penrose Hospital she retired devoting her time to traveling and spending time with family and friends. She and her loving husband of 64 years bought a recreational vehicle and traveled to almost all the United States. They enjoyed traveling with their children and grandchildren.

In her earlier years she was a librarian in the Philippines while surviving WWII.

Cristeta was avid reader of all literature but mostly loved mysteries. She also loved to watch tennis. Her favorite time was spent at the dinner table with her family at her side. Her favorite quote, “you need to eat more”! Her generosity and kindness were given to us all. Her love for her family will never diminish. The most wonderful gift she could ever give was the special part of her that now lives in each of us.
