Gregory Lenn Holley

Gregory L. Holley, beloved husband, father, and brother passed away peacefully on June 19, 2011 at his home in Monument, Colorado. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany on September 4, 1956 the third of three sons born to the late Carl and Dorothea Holley.

Greg graduated from Manitou Springs High School in 1974. After graduation he worked in the construction industry as a union carpenter, construction business owner (Big H Construction), and a construction contractor.

Family and friends were extremely important in his life. He enjoyed any activity that ended in a completed project. His most recent project was building a dream home for him and Donna, his best friend and wife.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Donna M. Holley; his wonderful daughters Rebecca, a recent graduate of Colorado University, and Kate, currently enrolled at The University of Montana; as well as two brothers, Steve and Mikel, and their families, and Donna’s sister Sheryl, brother Ed, her mother Ellen and their families.

Visitation will take place at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Tri-Lakes Chapel, 1750 Deer Creek Road, Monument, CO 80132. A celebration of his life and a service by Pastor Ed Rowell will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Monument Cemetery, Monument, Colorado.
