Helene “Mo” Russell, a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 19, 1935. Mo was a loving mother, devoted wife, and dedicated friend, who believed in living life to its fullest.
Mo is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert, “Bob” Russell, along with 3 daughters, Robin “Suki” Welch, Sheri “Jo” Brown, Marata “Babes” Nelson, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Creighton “Scratch” Russell.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 7th, 2013 from 5pm-7pm. There will be a casual attire Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at 10a.m, with reception to follow, at Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
