

Kay Jackson died peacefully in her home on December 26th, 2014. Born April 11th, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, she is predeceased by her parents, Melvin “Mev” and Georgibelle Brazelton of Elbert, Colorado.
Kay is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy Jackson, her daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Dan Trimbach, her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Nicole Jackson, and her four grandchildren, Ashley, Aidan, Kori, and Wyatt. Also surviving Kay are her two sisters, Rosalie Gilland of Stuarts Draft, Virginia and Karen Jackson of Monument, Colorado; and her twin brother, Donald Brazelton of Greeley, Colorado.
Kay has an amazing, non-assuming servant’s heart that is truly Christ-like. She is a faithful follower of Jesus who served in various roles at Sunnyside Christian Church and in Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoys quilting, gardening, reading and hanging out with her family. Her home cooking was incredible and family birthday dinners will not be the same. Her gentle humor and kind spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Kay's memorial service was held at Sunnyside Christian Church at 11:00am on Jan 2, 2015 and a private interment service was held at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs. Arrangements entrusted to Memoiral Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, www.memorialgardensfuneralhome.com.
