Imie Jean Smith, 82, of Colorado Springs, passed away September 23, 2018.

She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 9, 1936 to Judson Harris and Estella Green. She married Richard Donald Smith on July 20, 1958.

Imie Jean Smith was a homemaker and had a passion for baking. She also liked to crochet.

Imie Jean Smith is survived by her children: Janice Mulwee and Donald Smith; grandchildren: Ronda, Marcus, Nicole, Trevor, Imie and Michael; brothers: Gregory and Jackson Harris.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs 80910. Funeral service held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 5485 Alegre Drive, Fountain, 80817 with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
