

Bruce was born in Franklin, New Jersey on September 24, 1943, to James Harrison Norman and Theodora Sue Vanderhoff. He resided in New Jersey until moving to Colorado Springs in 1988. Bruce graduated from Butler High School in the class of 1961.
He was married to Diane Fergerson of Wayne, New Jersey on June 29, 1964.
Bruce had a career in the quartz manufacturing business, starting in New Jersey working for US Fused Quartz, Sussex Scientific and FST, he was an owner of Desert Glass Works in Colorado Springs.
Bruce is survived by his bride of 57 years, Diane Norman. He has 3 surviving children, Beth Norman Paulison (Jerry Paulison), James Bruce Norman, Jr. (JB) (Selena Scarpati) and William Norman (Felicity Charles). Bruce was reunited with their son, John Edward Norman, (1970 – 1973). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nick and Matt Paulison, Tina, Annie, Heather and CJ Norman, Jimmy and Chrissy Norman and a great grandson, Eros James Smith.
Bruce leaves a legacy of kindness, an open home and great love of family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Swan Law Funeral Directors February 24, 2022, from 4-6 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on February 25, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church 219 E Bijou Street, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His final resting place will be in New Jersey.
