James Thomas Hanks

James was a loving husband, father, and son who was devoted to God and his family. He will be remembered for his Compassionate heart, kindness, humor, strength, and unwavering love for AC/DC.

He was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked for ServiceMaster for over 30 years. He retired and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and it was there that he passed away.

James was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Hanks, his brother and sister Johnny & May Eckenroth, and his son, Christopher James Hanks.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Peggie Hanks; daughter, Megan Hanks; nephew and caregiver Nick McCracken; niece, Elaine McCracken; daughter-in-law, Brittany Hanks; grandchildren, McKinzie & Connor Hanks; Brother-in law Dennis and Michael McCracken (Susanne); Nieces, Jessica & Carolyn McCracken; Nephews, Sean & Jonathon McCracken; and the many kids/now adults he was a surrogate father to

His presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined in Arkansas.
