John Harris Trowbridge

John was born in Albany, NY to Gladys and Weber Trowbridge on July 15, 1933. He attended grade school in the town of Albany, NY where he met and later married his dear wife, Arline Reed. He married Arline Patricia Reed on November 10, 1956 in Orlando, FL.

He attended Syracuse University where he studied Art. He enlisted and served in the United States Army. John worked for the National Security Agency for 30 years from which he retired.

John is preceded in death by his wife Arline and his sister Jean.

John is survived by Susan McCutcheon, Gregory and Abby Trowbridge, Stephen and Bonnie Trowbridge, Cynthia and Daniel Deretchin, sister Martha Hall, grandchildren Rachel Samson, Sarah Quail, Robert McCutcheon, Chrisyne McCutcheon, Noel Trowbridge, Hannah Werling, Corrie Jaramillo, Esther Herrera, Michael Trowbridge, Andrew Trowbridge, Brian Trowbridge, Serah Trowbridge, Meghan Deretchin, Helen Deretchin, Lyndsey Deretchin. Great Grandchildren Hunter and Tristan Samson, Andrew, Catherine, Olivia, Ruth Quail, Orlando, Grace, Isabella, Eliana Trujillo, Emi Trowbridge, Mila Trowbridge.

A memorial service for John will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, followed by a committal service and military honors.

Memorials may be given to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
