Johnny "John" Higginbotham, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Co. John was born October 21, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to parents Leon Higginbotham (father) and Ruby McKenzie (mother). John was raised in Greensburg, LA by loving grandparents, Stella and John Higginbotham. John leaves to mourn the love of his life Carolyn Essex, devoted and beloved. Along with her children Gary, Erick, Inez and Darlene. A loving and devoted niece, Toshiba Bullard; a loving sister, Fay Hamilton.
John was a great truck driver. A job he loved and he loved to joke, he loved to travel and he loved a good meal.
