

June was the beloved daughter of the late Edna (Landrum) Wood and Robert Wood. She is survived by her four daughters, Charlotte (Lonnie), Verna (Don), Sharon (Ray), and Vicki (Troy). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Tanya, Sheri (Terry), Randy (Jodie), Gary (Luci), and Kevin (Deanna), as well as her ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other beloved relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwyn Leroy Nash, and five brothers and five sisters.
In her early years, June moved to Denver in 1941 and graduated from Lakewood High School in 1952. She began her career at Mountain Bell Telephone Company in Denver, Colorado, and later retired from Colorado Springs Health Partners in 1999 as a telephone operator.
June married Elwyn L. Nash on June 8, 1953, in Colorado Springs. She was an avid Bronco and CC Hockey fan and enjoyed her domino group. Her community involvement included being a member of Church on the Ranch, FOE 143, the Red Hats Society, and LST 883.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging and/or Pikes Peak Hospice in June's memory.
June requested colorful clothing to be worn to honor her blessed life. Visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM with Funeral Services at 9:30 AM. Immediately following will be a Reception from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Swan Law Funeral Directors 501 N. Cascade Ave Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
