Karen L Kent

Karen Kent, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 2, 2025. Born on May 11, 1951, Karen lived a life grounded in love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her pets also held a large part of her heart and they brought her comfort, joy, and companionship throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Kent, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised a close-knit and loving family that meant the world to her.

Karen is also survived by her children: Kellie Wasko (husband Gerald Wasko), Jennifer Stalder (husband Ty Stalder), and David Kent (wife Melissa Kent). She was a proud grandmother to Lindsay, Samantha, Dustin, Cody, Kyle, Tayla, Mikella, and Tyler. She was a cherished great-grandmother to Kayden, Kase, Cole, Drew, and Eli.

Karen is survived by many extended family members who were dear to her — including sister in laws, brother in laws nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends — all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Karen’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and family. Her steady presence, warm hugs, and constant support will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

A private family memorial will be held in her honor.
