Karen Louise Montgomery

Karen Louise Montgomery was born on January 22, 1941. She entered Heaven on February 10, 2017. A consummate professional, mother and homemaker, Karen was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and was most happy when surrounded by the family she loved so much. She was employed at Memorial Hospital in Human Resources for over 20 years. Karen had an unwavering faith in God, and demonstrated it each day of her life. Karen was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and her sister Juanita Cowan and her husband Dick. She is also survived by her devoted husband Donald Montgomery, Her son Charles Montgomery and his wife Gail of Colorado Springs, her daughter Cheri Montgomery Morgan and husband Tom Staples of Colorado Springs, and Chad Montgomery and, his wife Liz of Denver, Colorado. She had two grandchildren who she adored, Hunter Morgan and Lexi Morgan of Colorado Springs. Her husband Don lovingly and patiently cared for her the last years of her life. The family gives thanks to everyone else who cared for and prayed for Karen their greatest gratitude. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday February 18th at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs 80918.
