

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Anne Montville, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us on August 22nd at the age of 64.
Kathryn was born on October 20th, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the eldest of five children/to Bill and Ida Seaberg. She graduated from Evergreen High School in 1978, and went on to attend the University of Iowa before transferring to the University of Colorado Boulder where she received a degree in broadcast journalism. Her career encompassed broadcast and reporter positions for television stations in Colorado including KKTV in Colorado Springs. Subsequent to her broadcast career, she joined Valpak, serving as an award winning account executive for several years.
Kathryn is survived by her cherished children, Jack and Cate Montville of Colorado Springs, her parents, Bill and Ida Seaberg, her siblings Carolyn (Chris) Tormey, Tom Seaberg, Julie (Tom) McSweeney and John Seaberg, and her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Kathryn was known for her compassionate nature, her generosity, and her talents as a writer and equestri-an. She loved living in the mountains and the majestic natural beauty of Colorado. Kathryn's passionate spirit, creative mind, infectious laughter and engaging sense of humor will be missed by all who were a part of her life.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 17th, at 1:00pm at Hillside Gardens in Colorado Springs. Friends and family are invited to attend to celebrate Kathryn's life and share their memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Kathryn's memory.
Kathryn's spirit will live in in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will forever be dearly missed.
