

Kenneth was born on December 18, 1937, in Troy, New York, to Kenneth Salisbury and Cora May Salisbury, née Hansen. He grew up in Johnsonville, New York.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force in March 1956 and proudly served his country for more than 21 years. Kenneth retired from the Air Force in June 1977, concluding a distinguished military career marked by dedication and service. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he made his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He married Cheryl Ann Salisbury (née Grundon) in Houma, Louisiana, on January 18, 1959.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Cheryl Ann Salisbury; five brothers; five sisters; and his children: Ken (Cindy), Andy (Lisa), Pam Wildman (Tom), Patty McLaughlin (Jeff), Steve, John, and Julie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Salisbury; his mother, Cora May Salisbury; his brother, Norman Salisbury; and infant twins, Anne and Paul.
A Committal Service with Air Force Military Honors will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80925.
Kenneth will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
