Lawrence Breault (Larry) passed away peacefully in his home with his wife, Dayna and brother-in-law, Doug Balbag by his side. Larry was born in Beverly, MA on October 18, 1958 to Roger and Gloria Breault. He grew up with a sister, Colleen Phillips of Rehoboth, MA and a brother, Ronald Breault of Rockport, MA in a charming New England town of Danvers, MA. He graduated from Danvers High School in 1977, Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 1981 BA in Biology, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine 1985 in Doctor of Medical Dentistry, Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at Fort Bragg in 1986, Medical College of Georgia for MS in Oral Biology in 1994 and the US Army Periodontic Residency Training Program at Fort Gordon, GA in 1995. He got “Mentor of the Year” award four times which is outstanding for Periodontics in the Army. He started publishing after graduating from the Perio program in Fort Gordon, GA for numerous dental journals and had almost 50 articles that he worked with his friends, Dr. Fred Bisch, Dr. Barry Bishop and Dr. Ed Fowler when all of them were Active Duty in the Army. He was stationed in South Korea, Fort Devens, MA, Heidelberg, Germany, Fort Gordon, GA Schofield Barracks, HI, Fort Benning, GA, lastly Fort Carson before retiring in the Colorado Springs, CO area. He volunteered at the Fort Mohave Indian reservation in Fort Mohave, AZ at the dental clinic and planned to go back this Fall before falling ill. He retired as a Colonel in the US Army with 30 years of service.
A loving husband to his wife, Dayna, a wonderful son, brother and father to his stepson, Skylar Arrington and all his Bull Terrier kids. He loved working on his vehicles, especially the 86 Pontiac Fiero and the 77 Ford Bronco. He loved to run and do a little weightlifting. He followed the Boston Red Sox and witnessed the three Word Series in his lifetime. His favorite team was the New England Patriots. He always followed the team. He loved traveling in his RV and would take trips as much as possible. Also, he always loved to read.
A funeral service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO.
